I hope that each of you has had a wonderful couple weeks since my last email. As you all know, the spring is the busiest time of year for the NWSA Chorus and my energies have been spent working on all of those various experiences.
Those of you who traveled to the West with us, thank you for a wonderful, enjoyable, learning filled trip. This was a trip that I will not soon forget and I hope that all of the underclassmen consider joining us in the coming years on one of our adventures.
Concert Details: The spring concert will be held on May 16, 2017 at 7pm. This concert will NOT be at Friendship Missionary Baptist. Please mark your calendars and set your GPS appropriately. This event will be at University City United Methodist Church located at:

Students need to arrive at 6:15pm I will NOT be available after school to hold students in my classroom. Please make arrangements NOW.
This event also includes a celebration following that is potluck. We ask that students last name A- M bring a sweet treat to share.
N-Z bring a savory treat to share.
Uniform Return: For students who did not purchase a uniform this year, please return rented uniforms no later than May 26, 2017. Dresses and tuxedos are expected to be returned clean and on a hanger. If you own your dress or tuxedo, please disregard this message.
Uniform Sales: If you own one of the new dresses, you may want to consider reaching out to 8th grade students coming into the high school program to sell your dress. You are welcome to put a flyer with the size, price and how to contact you on the board outside of the HS Chorus room. Mr. Lafreniere is going to let the 8th grade students know to begin looking in the next few weeks. This makes you some money and saves them some money. What you charge is up to you.
Bank of America: Did you or your student miss out on the trip this year? Would you love to participate next year?
We are currently looking to find a few people to lead up the Bank of America fundraising project for next year. It is a big job but, results with an almost completely, if not completely paid for trip! It would also be a big help! If you are interested in being a lead, please let me know as soon as possible.
Next school year, we are expecting for each family(one or two people) to work one shift at the stadium to help the NWSA Choirs. Any shifts exceeding that, will go straight into the fund for the trip.
Accountant: NWSA Choral Arts boosters are looking for an accountant to do a one time pro-bono project for us. If you are or know someone who would be willing to help us out, please let me know.
Graduation: Just a reminder that all students enrolled in Chamber Choir are expected to be at graduation on June 14th. More information about call times will be sent closer to the date.
Statement: Statements are being sent out today. Please know that all accounts need to be settled prior to May 26, 2017. At that point, financial obligation letters will be sent home for students with outstanding balances. Please check your charms account if you have questions prior to contacting me. If there are questions, I will be happy to point you in the direction of our treasurers.
